Shipping policy

Thank you for choosing Silk Closet as your preferred destination for luxurious silk products. We strive to provide you with the best shopping experience, including hassle-free and timely delivery of your purchases. Please review our shipping policy below:

1. Free Shipping:

We offer free shipping on all orders over $100AUD within Australia and New Zealand (zone c). This promotion is automatically applied at checkout, and no additional coupon code is required. For orders below $100, a flat shipping rate will be applied.  For international orders (zone A and B), we offer complimentary shipping for orders that are over $60USD or €60.

2. Shipping Zones:

Currently, we offer shipping within the following zones:

- Zone A: Europe (excluding UK)

- Zone B: United States and Canada.

- Zone C: Australia and New Zealand

Please note that shipping availability may vary for certain countries within each zone. If your country is not listed during the checkout process, please reach out to us at info@silkclosetthelabel.com for a personalised postage quote. Unfortunately we are not available in the UK as we are not registered for VAT there.  UK customers may purchase from our Etsy site, Basketandsilk, if they wish.

3. Express Shipping:

For customers who require expedited delivery, we are happy to inform you that an express post option is available in most circumstances at an additional cost.  Not all locations allow for express shipping however.  

4. Order Processing Time:

We understand the excitement of receiving your silk products promptly. Therefore, we strive to process and dispatch all orders within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.  Please check your junk mailbox if you have not received your confirmation.

5. Delivery Time:

The estimated delivery time will depend on your shipping destination and the shipping method chosen. Please note that delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances, such as customs delays or extreme weather conditions.  

Estimated delivery times to the following regions are as follows once order has been processed (allow 1-2 working days for processing):

- Australia: 1-4 business days
- Asia Pacific: 4-9 business days
- European Union: 8-12 business days
- Rest of Europe: 8-15 business days
- New Zealand: 4-7 business days
- South America: 17-25 business days 
- United Kingdom: 4-7 business days 
- United States: 5-9 business days

6. Customs and Duties:

Please be aware that international orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information regarding potential fees before placing your order.
